The breeding stock of breeders on the Evergreen Golden Retriever Club referral list and other breeders may or may not be cleared for Hip, Elbow, Eye and Heart problems. It is up to YOU, the buyer, to ask for written proof. Take no excuse! There is none! If the type of dog sold is what you want, ask about guarantees or sales agreements offered and feel free to ask about anything that concerns you. After all, this puppy will be part of your family for 10-15 years! Be suspicious of any breeder who does not readily answer your questions. Likewise, any breeder who cares about his/her puppies will be asking you a lot of questions. Be wary of any breeder who does not appear extremely concerned about the puppy’s new environment and family. And be wary of any breeder who seems overly anxious to sell you a puppy. The Evergreen Golden Retriever Club assumes NO responsibility for any of the breeders on the referral list, nor for any puppies or dogs they may produce or sell, nor for any dogs placed by members for adoption.
